Eulogistics
Essentially, this is a poetry chapbook with poems dedicated to dead people (hence “Eulogistics”). The significance of these poems become clear when you reach the end and find out that they’re for Frank Zappa, Daniel Jones, and Gwendolyn MacEwen, etc.. The most significant poems for me were “A Wake For Jorge” and “A Wake For Jones.” The first of these I liked because it was kind of cute. The second I liked because it came close to telling a truth about someone I once knew. (DP)
