Ductape

In the fat new double-issue of one of Canada’s foremost music zines, the primary attraction is a chunky Vans Warped Tour special. Zach goes backstage to score interviews with Bad Religion, Rancid, the Specials and many more…It’s rare for fanzines to gain access to big events like we see here. These sorts of perks are usually reserved for the major media poseurs who are in it for free nachos and beer. The spirit and excitement of the day captured in Zach’s writing is what’s too often missing from the more jaded commercial press. A commendable job, and nice souvenir for any in attendance. There’s also coverage of Chixdiggit, Millencolin, reviews and loads more rounding out one of the best issues of Ductape yet. (DF)
