Double Dare Press

A literary ezine. Says so right there in the title bar. You know what that means. It means short stories and poems about what it’s like to be a 20ish creative writing student. It means lots of stuff about dear old relatives and clueless boyfriends and crappy day jobs and existential nausea. Some of the stories in the latest issue are snappy and fun, while others are sadly bland. In addition to the prose and poetry, the quarterly publication offers a surprising number of columnists and some nice illustrations. The layout is clean and minimalist, but according to the introductory editorial the site is about to make some changes, so it might be utterly different by the time you read this. (Derek Winkler)
