Dish of lachryma

This zine begins, “Hi, my name is Mark. I have glass teeth and pieces of plaster on my wall. I don’t know how to pray very well.” That’s generally the tone: existentially burdened, somewhat whimsical, stretchin’ for poetry. Dreams, rants, short stories. Generally they work best when they’re kept short — Mark tends to meander at greater lengths. But much of this dish is funny and strangely moving. Favourite item: picture of crying baby captioned, “Don’t trust babies.”
