Dirt: The Sweet Smell of Sex

From the title you may have guessed that this is the sex issue. In her editorial Steph says, “I hope you find this issue to be both sweet and refreshing.” A package of Kool-Aid powder comes with every copy, so sweet it is, but as for the refreshing part, it depends on who you are. If you are a virgin, yes, you will find this refreshing. The more experience you’ve had, the less refreshing you will find this zine. Of course, there are interesting parts that even a veteran philanderer will enjoy: the “Are You A Pervert?” quiz, and the Aphrodisiac recipe for instance. There’s a cool rant by a woman fed up with the ‘Asian girls are submissive’ stereotype, and as a bonus woman- woman relationships receive an honorable mention. Still, this sex zine is VERY hetero, and that can lead to yawning in some readers. Be warned. (MM)
