Crappy Messed-Up Zine for Losers

Humour zines are a troublesome thing. Writers have limited control over delivery and as they say, “Timing…is…ever…y…thi..ng.” On top of that, writing funny is a lot more difficult than talking funny (just try to be sarcastic by e-mail). Steve and Mike make an attempt to be funny and succeed when mocking zine conventions like bad teenage poetry and concert reviews (“of shows I wasn’t at”). Then again, maybe I just appreciate pointed jabs at the sanctity of Can-indie rock. I don’t appreciate nonsense, of which there is an unholy amount in this here zine. (TD)
