Dustin is on to something here. Brain on Coffee consists of a series of extremely short comics, each one based on the happenings and personalities of a number of different characters. One specifically memorable character is of an older, balding, down-on-his-luck gentleman who possesses a shy optimism despite his poor luck. In one scene he’s sitting in at the front stage of a strip bar and only the stripper’s legs are visible. The man says, “Susan?” and the stripper replies, “Dad?” Below the writing reads, “Mitchie meets his long lost daughter.” Funny! Hilarious! Well, at least I thought so. Other comics take on the question of R2-D2 and C3PO being gay, a middle-aged and pudgy Spiderman eating urinal cakes and more hilarity. I feel that although he is still a far distance from the master of the one panel comic Gary Larson, Dustin is still worthy of being compared to him. (Adam Vaughn)
