Bottle Fulla is fulla something, but it isn’t smoke. A combination of high art, Grateful Dead imagery, bad jokes and gore, it’s a knocked over vessel spilling out images that are at once both familiar and odd. Odd because they are out of synch with what we expect to happen in comics. Familiar, because they are, after all, only what they are: a man on motorcycle, a boy sitting in the corner of a room, a rat, a rocking chair, a rat’s eye. This is interesting work, formless but not without vision. Definitely check it out.
