Barzin – My Life in Rooms

Guelph’s saddest son continues his musical trek through the twilight. Fellow trudger Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers appears by his side for this leg of the journey. The music emerges like a late night broadcast, travelling on warm FM tones, relaying messages from a radio station that’s equal parts languid Granddaddy, small town Richard Hawley and sex-changed Mazzy Star. This is music that makes exhaustion a blessing. (Terence Dick)
