Azmacourt

Marc claims that this will be the last issue of his asthma-zine, but don’t y’all believe it. This thing is too good to die such an early death. It’s something like Dishwasher in its narration of the life of a loveable hobo fuck-up, but more intimate, less linear, more self-denigrating, and in comix form. Marc is a mess; he can’t bring himself to stay with a job or a city, and he’s pining after his underage ex-girlfriend. Plus, his asthma’s getting worse, and the free meds he used to get because he’s 1/16 Native American now require a $2.00 “donation.” Marc’s best friend Beau contributes some fabulous deadpan poetry. Send for a copy and help Marc acquire the health insurance he so craves. You Canadians can’t possibly understand how desperate we Americans can get for such a thing. (MD)
