Art Metropole Retail Catalogue
Art Metropole’s catalogue is an excellent resource. Not only does it give a thorough listing of all publications and artists’ books available through the gallery/resource center, it helped me determine an advance list of those items to consider on my next visit. Art Metropole is always information overload if I go there unprepared. You can order in person, by fax or mail. I was pleasantly surprised to find multiples made by some international and local artists (too many artists to mention) as well as seminal theory books by Krauss, Randolph, etc. Each listing has all the important info, including price and concise descriptions. A strange cover boasts photos of staff and gives a personable feel to an otherwise dry but very efficient publication. (PVP)
