ARC: Canada’s National Poetry Magazine
Hardcore zine enthusiasts might balk at ARC’s high art production quality. I myself have sometimes been put off by the beautiful illustrations, carefully formatted text and actual book-like quality of some literary journals. Often, the stuff inside these visual works of art is crap. Not so with ARC. It’s mostly poems; mostly good poems. There’s some reviews and some photos. Ignore the lack of spontaneity in the ARC’s production and enjoy the good words (even if they are everywhere carefully placed just so on the page). (KS)
