From the creator of Lamchop Safari comes a whole new selection of books featuring Jason McLean’s trademark frenetic, lively, oddly familiar images. Aok and IG are in colour and cost $5 each. IG seems to be mediation on faces, while AOK focuses on depicting contorted landscapes. Then there are a bunch of b/w booklets that run for $2.50, including my favourite Enter the House of Horror, a less formal meander that shows what McLean does best: contortions of the familiar that, nevertheless, seem perfectly natural given the circumstances.
