Alternatives Journal

Alternatives is an academic magazine geared towards environmental issues. It’s put out by the faulty of environmental studies so it shouldn’t be that surprising. It’s pretty well written and slick for an environmental magazine. The features that stand out the most are: “It’s Not Waste Until It’s Wasted” and “Resources for the Next Industrial Revolution.” Anyway, you get the idea. It’s not something that I’d personally flip open as a nice summer read. Then again, if your one of those people who get off on saving the Niagara Escarpment then Alternatives will definitely start you up. (DP)
