Armen is a really good interviewer, and interviews interesting people. Tim Ellison from Modern Rock Magazine, jazz drummer Whit Dickey, band photographer Glen E. Friedman, Rorschach mastermind Charles Maggio (now with Computer Cougar), Change Zine editor Pat West, John Marr of Murder Can Be Fun zine and many others pass under the soul microscope, revealing their minds to all. There is also a feature on the history of Cometbus, which is one of the longest-standing zines out there, and has rather unknown origins. The layout of this zine is top quality while still being punk, in the vein of a better issue of Punk Planet. To top that off, this zine is totally ad-free. At two bucks, it’s a steal for anybody remotely interested in what and how people involved in the cultural underground think. (Frandroid Atreides)
