The Deathmatch is back! Submissions are now open for the 2016 competition. Stories of up to 3,000 words can enter for a chance at the Indie Writers Dream Pack. This includes consultation with a literary agent, feedback from an award winning writer, advice from a leading independent press, and $400. Plus, more cash and pries for the other finalists.
The Broken Pencil fiction team selects 16 stories to battle it out online. Readers vote, writers comment, ego’s shatter. Each week there’s a series of one on one match-up’s until one writer reigns supreme.
