Here’s a sampling of the titles on Ricochet Books: Murder Over Dorval, The Crime on Cote des Neiges and Hot Freeze (the last featuring the tagline: “Sin took over when the sun went down.”)
Originally sold as paperbacks on drugstore racks and newsstands in the ’40s and ’50s, many of these titles were lost to time until editor Brian Busby (who also runs a website devoted to forgotten Canlit, The Dusty Bookcase) tracked some titles down in the ’80s.
