Ottawa book fair ottawa small press fair, spring 2014 edition, Saturday June 7, 12pm-5pm, Jack Purcell Community Centre, 320 Jack Purcell Lane, free for the public 

It’s that time of year again! This Saturday, span-o (small press action network – ottawa) will be hosting another fabulous line up of exhibitors hawking and sharing poetry books, novels, chapbooks, cookbooks, t-shirts, prints, graphic novels, comic books, magazines, scraps of paper, gum-ball machines with poems, and who know what else.

Founded by rob mclennan and James Spyker 20 years ago, the ottawa small press book fair is a staple of the vibrant literary culture in Ottawa and Ontario.

This year, exhibitors include:  40-Watt Spotlight, above/ground press, Ankle Bone Books, AngelHousePress, Apt. 9 Press, Arc Poetry Magazine, Cat & Bean Publishing, Black Radish Books, CC Brunelle, Martin Bueno, BuschekBooks, Bywords, Chaudiere Books, Editions du Rognon, Gesture Press, GiddyPigs, The Grunge Papers, Hark!
