Art/zine/performance/funny guy collective Fake Injury Party gets sexy dead with a multi-media, multi-reality performance. Deconstructing… Showgirls? Parkdale’s  community arts program Making Room and the Parkdale Activity Recreation Centre celebrate their launch of their book “John Blank’s Bags” with a parade down to the water, featuring a choir performance, a book launch ceremony, drumming, tons of food and a campfire! The parade leaves PARC (1499 Queen St W) at 2:30pm, but the preparations begins at 11am! Then a party in Budapest Park until sundown.

Sunday June 22

Taddle Creek is launching its first issue for kids, with readings from Evan Munday and Philippa Dowding and art activities by Dave Lapp, Claudia Davila and more!
