We’re pleased to welcome veteran Canadian indie cartoonist Colin Upton back to Canzine West this year!
Colin has been creating comics – including his well-known Canadian History mini-comics and Self-Indulgent Comics for a quarter century! Holy crap. He is also a lowbrow painter, illustrator, writer, public speaker, flanuer, miniaturist, wargamer and in the past he has dabble in performance art and music. Last year at Canzine West we picked up a megapack of some of Colin’s “Fuck” trilogy, the titles of which might give you an idea of the work’s subject matter: Fuck Technology, Fuck the Olympics, Motherfuckers and Fuck Art! Colin is a motherfucking national treasure. Come see him this Saturday!
Hi, it’s me. Thanks for the write up, there’s just a couple minor points I’d like to add. Next year will be my 30TH year making comics and the title your thinking of is “Fuck Computers”, not “Fuck Technology”… Technology after all is a vast category…
