Canzine West: Ho Tam

Time to meet another dual vendor and panelist! We’re stoked to welcome Ho Tam the publisher behind 88Books as well as projects such as hotam, Poser, and XXX Zine. We reviewed one of the XXX Zines, Roy Drawings by Doug Melnyk, in Issue 60, and have been following his work ever since. We’re interested in how the medium of a zine might allow for the development of a complicated and pluralistic political identity such as queerness, and Ho Tam’s work seems to prod that same question— as well as many others.

Hello, I would like to read the review on my zine in issue 60 but I am unable to access it. Winnipeg Public Library does not have it, it seems. Thanks very much!

  3. Hi there, I do think your site may be having web browser compatibility issues.
When I take a look at your web site in Safari, it looks fine however when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues.
I just wanted to provide you with a quick heads up! Aside from that,
    excellent site!
