Broken Pencil at Word on the Street

Yep, we’re back at The Word on the Street Toronto this Sunday. From 11am – 6pm, you can come visit our booth, pick up a button, join our mailling list, and just say hi. We will be giving out flyers with info about Canzine and DEATHMATCH! Yes!!!

We’re also selling single issues of Broken Pencil AND Geist Magazine for a mere $7. And you can get one-year subscriptions to both magazines for $30. Whatta deal!

Alison Lang is the editor of Broken Pencil Magazine. She also writes about music and horror for a number of publications, including the Quill & Quire, Exclaim! and Rue Morgue, and has lectured on Satanic cults in cinema for The Black Museum lecture series in Toronto. She loves dogs, doom metal and karaoke and makes a mean motherfuckin' rice pilaf.
