Excerpted from No Hope

By Jason Dean

Jason Dean has been self-publishing his comic NO HOPE intermittently for about 10 years. In the early issues it was mostly humour that dominated the content, but as the years have gone by the comic has grown much darker and lot more complex. His latest issue is by far the darkest. As Dean points out: “A recent reviewer described NO HOPE #5 as ‘Bleak tales of hopelessness rendered with impeccable care…’ I like that. I think it sums my work up pretty well.”
